President Zardari Awards Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) to Chinese Commander Gen. Li Qiaoming

Islamabad: In a prestigious ceremony today, President Asif Ali Zardari bestowed the Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) upon General Li Qiaoming, the Commander of the People’s Liberation Army Ground Forces of China, recognizing his contributions to strengthening military cooperation between Pakistan and China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the award was presented at a special investiture ceremony held in Islamabad, attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, and other prominent civil and military leaders from both nations.

The ceremony underscored the deep military and strategic ties between Pakistan and China, highlighting the ongoing collaboration and mutual support that define the relationship between the two countries.
