Inspector General Police Punjab issues orders to stand security on High Alert across Punjab and officials deployed during Muharram for security will remain on duty till further orders during Muharram

Lahore, November 16, 2013 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Punjab, Khan Baig, has issued orders to stand Security on High Alert across the Punjab and all Officers/Officials who were deployed during Muharram for security will remain on duty till coming further orders.

He also directed all Regional and Districts Police Officers to keep themselves vigilant and monitor the activities of those spurious elements who were trying to create misunderstandings among the people.

Provincial Police Chief also directed the Officers to keep a constant eye on those who involved in spreading rumours and misguiding the innocent masses with a view to provide more security to them and their properties.
