‘Intelligence-based operations continuing to eliminate terrorism’

Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said Intelligence-based operations (IBOs) are continuing in various parts to eliminate the scourge of terrorism.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that our armed forces are sacrificing their lives and we have made tremendous success in fighting the war on terror.

He said government has decided to call all parties conference to discuss plan of operation “Azm-e-Istehkam” to flush out terrorism and bring complete peace and prosperity for the people of Pakistan.

He said the entire nation and the political parties including Opposition will support the operation Azm-e-Istehkam, being launched to eradicate menace of terrorism from the country.
