Islamabad, Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, outlined several new initiatives aimed at fostering educational and developmental opportunities for Pakistan’s youth. During a ceremony in Islamabad, he emphasized the government’s commitment to mobilizing the potential of young Pakistanis through a series of targeted projects.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mashhood highlighted the “education emergency” declared by the Prime Minister, which is set to significantly boost efforts to enroll out-of-school children. He detailed the government’s ongoing projects designed to provide avenues for youth to engage actively in societal and economic development.
Further expanding the government’s focus on youth, Mashhood announced the extension of the Prime Minister Talent Hunt Programme to include sixteen different sports, aiming to discover and nurture emerging athletic talents. Additionally, he unveiled plans to form a climate volunteer corps, which will involve training four hundred thousand young individuals to respond to natural calamities, equipping them with crucial skills for disaster management.
