Islamic Art and Calligraphy Exhibition will be held at Defence Authority Creek Club

Karachi, July 13, 2012 (PPI-OT): An Islamic Art and Calligraphy Exhibition will be held at the Indus Hall of Defence Authority Creek Club located in DHA Phase-VIII on Sunday July, 15, 2012 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Wonderful pieces of creative Islamic art and rare calligraphy specimens will be exhibited on the occasion. General public and all art lovers are co-cordially invited to the exhibition. Visual arts including oil paintings, calligraphy and ceramics focusing on the depiction of patterns and Arabic calligraphy will also be on display.

The works also include calligraphic works of Holy Quran verses in oil painting, flowers and battle field scenes in oil painting on canvas made with aesthetic vision. Brig (R) Asif Ghazali, the organizer and patron of the Exhibition said that the earnings through the exhibition would be spent to help the needy artists.
