Jimmy Engineer’s art works and paintings on display at Exhibition in Singapore

Islamabad, June 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s acclaimed Artist, Philanthropist and social worker Jimmy Engineer’s art works and paintings were on display at the Exhibition “Pakistan-Singapore Bridge of Goodwill – A Tribute to Singapore” at the Art House Gallery from 20 June to 25 June 2013.

A press release received from Pakistan High Commission Singapore says that the Exhibition is being organized by Pakistan High Commission in Singapore. Speaking at the inauguration of the Exhibition, High Commissioner for Pakistan in Singapore Syed Hasan Javed stated that Jimmy Engineer’s paintings and art works are reflection of deeper feelings of human relationship, passion, love, solidarity, compassion and struggle. Introducing the artist, the High Commissioner said that Jimmy Engineer represents the soul of Pakistan and his works have been exhibited extensively not only in Pakistan but in a number of other countries. He added that the theme of Jimmy’s exhibition this time reflects the deep commitment to promotion of higher noble ideals of closer understanding, friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Singapore.

A large gathering of Art lovers, business community and expatriate Pakistanis, were present on the occasion. The High Commissioner also presented a book on the life of Jimmy Engineer to the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Mr. Jimmy Engineer also spoke on his works and inspiration to serve the humanity and enhance understanding and exchanges between cultures of the world.
