K Electric and Karachi Development Authority Discuss Settlement of Arrears

Karachi, In a significant meeting, K Electric’s delegation, led by General Manager Works and Estate Umar M. Makhdumi, met with Karachi Development Authority Director General Syed Shujaat Hussain to address mutual financial concerns.

According to Karachi Development Authority, the discussion centered on the payment of arrears, with K Electric confirming that pay orders covering 90% of the due amount for KDA plots have been submitted. The remaining 10% is promised to be settled soon. DG KDA expressed satisfaction over the progress and designated Member Administration KDA Naveed Anwar as the focal person to enhance cooperation with K Electric. Instructions were given to develop a joint strategy for the swift settlement of remaining dues and to finalize necessary paperwork for K Electric’s offices and grid stations in various schemes and townships.

The meeting reflects KDA’s optimistic view of Karachi’s economic policies and their impact on increasing revenue streams and overall stability.
