Kanwal Cheema Promotes Digital Charity Platform to Pak-American Tech Entrepreneurs in Washington

Islamabad, Kanwal Cheema, the founder and CEO of My Impact Meter (MIM), discussed the utilization of technology for poverty eradication and enhancing social integration at a meeting with Pak-American tech entrepreneurs and IT professionals in Washington. The event, hosted by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Masood Khan, focused on digitalizing charity to foster trust, transparency, and broaden outreach, particularly targeting the education, healthcare, and vocational training needs of the underprivileged in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Khan praised Cheema’s efforts in linking global donors with beneficiaries in Pakistan through the digital platform. He emphasized the potential of MIM to act as a bridge between continents and to enhance networking for philanthropic initiatives. Cheema highlighted the platform’s role in ensuring NGO accountability and facilitating vocational training to help beneficiaries achieve self-sufficiency.
