Kapil Sibal Criticizes Modi Government’s Handling of Kashmir Issue

New Delhi, Kapil Sibal, a Rajya Sabha member, openly criticized the Indian government’s decision to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, labeling it a political move lacking necessity.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Sibal voiced concerns over the feasibility of conducting assembly elections in the region under current conditions, hinting that only a significant political shift in the upcoming results on June 4 could alter the situation. He emphasized that the ongoing dispute in Kashmir is fundamentally between the Indian state and the Kashmiri people.
