Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry finalizes 15 Sub-Committees for year 2014-15

Karachi, October 30, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has finalized nominations for Chairmen of 15 Sub-Committee formed for the year 2014-15. Chairman Businessmen Group and Former President KCCI, Siraj Kassam Teli, Vice Chairmen BMG Tahir Khaliq, Zubair Motiwala, Haroon Farooki and Anjum Nisar, President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra, Senior Vice President KCCI, Mohammad Ibrahim Kasumbi and Vice President KCCI, Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan congratulated the newly appointed chairmen of all sub-committees.

They extended full support and cooperation to the Chairmen of various Sub-Committees which have been formed to facilitate the business and industrial community of Karachi. They hoped that the newly appointed chairmen will try their best to effectively highlight and resolve the genuine issues being confronted by the business community and utilize all available resources to further improve the image of Karachi Chamber.

According to details, GST and Refund Sub-Committee will be headed by Mohammad Ali H. Mohammad; Income Tax and Federal Excise Duty Sub-Committee by Hassan Sheikh Vohra; Exports Sub-Committee by Qamar Raza Shaukat; Customs, Valuation, Import and Anti-Smuggling Sub-Committee by Azhar Waseem Puri; Industry Sub-Committee by M. Lakhani; Banking and Insurance Sub-Committee by Pervez Ashfaq; Fairs, Exhibitions and Trade Delegation Sub-Committee by Naveed Farooki; Law and Order Sub-Committee by Haji Asif; Communication Sub-Committee by Imran Aziz; Diplomatic Missions and Embassies Liaison Sub-Committee by M. Naeem Sharif; Public Sector, Utilities, Power and Gas Sub-Committee by Jamal Rasheed; Provincial and Local Taxes Sub-Committee by Shahzada Nasir Maqbool; Ports, Shipping and Multi Modal Transport Sub-Committee by Asif Nisar; Health, Education and CSR Sub-Committee by Shaikh M. Arman and WTO, IPR, FTA and Regional Trade Sub-Committee by Emad Elahi Shamsi.
