Karachi Deputy Mayor Celebrates Asifa Bhutto’s Entry into National Assembly

Karachi, Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad has extended his congratulations to Asifa Bhutto on her recent oath-taking as a member of the National Assembly, heralding her as a promising advocate for the impoverished and women in particular.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Deputy Mayor Murad praised Asifa Bhutto’s entry into politics as a continuation of her family’s longstanding commitment to democracy and the democratic institutions in Pakistan. He remarked that Asifa Bhutto’s presence in the assembly would be a source of joy for the late Benazir Bhutto’s spirit and a significant step in upholding the Bhutto family’s legacy of public service.
