Karachi Development Authority and House Building Finance Department Discuss Strengthening Relations and Financial Cooperation

Karachi, The Director General of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Syed Shujaat Hussain, emphasized the need for a collective effort to financially strengthen the KDA and ensure the provision of basic facilities to citizens during a meeting with a delegation from the House Building Finance Department. The meeting, held at the Civic Center, focused on mutual issues and the strengthening of relations between the two organizations.

According to Karachi Development Authority, the delegation from the House Building Finance Department assured DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain that the payment of maintenance and other dues to the KDA would be expedited. The delegation praised the impartial initiatives under the leadership of DG KDA, which have led to positive changes within the organization.

During the meeting, DG KDA Syed Shujaat Hussain instructed Member Administration KDA Naveed Anwar to establish links with relevant authorities, compile a detailed report of the amounts due to the KDA from various departments, and ensure that all available resources are used to collect these dues. He stressed that the interests of the institution should be prioritized and urged all institutions to ensure the payment of the due amounts to help reduce the financial pressures on the KDA. He expressed hope that all departments, including house building authorities, would fulfill their legitimate financial obligations to further strengthen the KDA.

The meeting was attended by Member Admin Naveed Anwar Siddiqui, Legal Advisor KDA Syed Zahid Ali, Director State Arshad Abbas, Executive Engineer Civic Center Building, and other officers along with DG KDA.
