Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has initiated preparations for a grand two-day Independence Day celebration at the Governor’s House, featuring performances by renowned singer Atif Aslam and an appearance by 2024 Olympics gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem.

According to Sindh Governor House, the festivities are set to begin with a spectacular fireworks display at midnight on August 13. Atif Aslam will entertain the audience with his performance on the following day, August 14. Additionally, Arshad Nadeem, who clinched the gold medal in the Javelin Throw at the 2024 Olympics, will be honored at the event, with Governor Tesori awarding him Rs 20 lakh. The preparations, including stage setup and separate seating arrangements for men and women, have been meticulously planned, with senior officials expressing satisfaction over the ongoing arrangements.
