Karachi Industrial Leaders Meet with IG Sindh to Discuss Security and Crime Statistics

Karachi, A delegation of industrial leaders from various sectors met with IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon to discuss security concerns and the state of law enforcement in the city’s industrial zones. The meeting, which included high-ranking police officials, addressed recent crime statistics and strategies for enhancing industrial security.

According to Sindh Police, IG Memon provided a detailed report on crime trends from January to June, highlighting a significant decrease in thefts and successful resolutions of numerous robbery-related murders. The meeting also covered recent actions against drug trafficking and plans to strengthen police resources and technologies, including the use of facial recognition cameras and the establishment of special courts for serious crimes. The industrial leaders expressed confidence in the police’s strategies and the forthcoming Karachi Safe City Project expected to bolster security.
