Kashmiri doctors’ body supports employees’ strike call

Srinagar, September 06, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the President of Kashmiri Doctors Association, Nisar-ul-Hassan has asked the government employees to refrain from performing election duties so as to send a message across that Kashmir is a dispute and elections are no solution to it.

Dr Nisar supporting the proposed three-day strike call given by the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) of employees from Monday, in a statement in Srinagar said “Doctors and paramedics extend full support to employees strike call and warn government of dire consequences if employees’ demands are not met.”

Meanwhile, Non-Gazetted Employees Union, Information Department, Kashmir Division, at an emergency meeting in Srinagar also extended full support to JCC protest call, urging the employees to make it a complete success.
