Kashmiris’ sacrifices will not go waste: Naqash

Srinagar, January 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, has said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people for securing their right to self-determination will not go waste.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash addressing corner meetings in different areas of Srinagar said that it was the historical fact that India itself had taken the Kashmir dispute to the United Nations and promised to give the people of Jammu and Kashmir the right to decide their fate by themselves. He said that India was hell bent on curbing and crushing the voice of freedom through military might.

The APHC leader said that the people of Kashmir had been peacefully struggling for resolution of the Kashmir dispute but India with the arrogance of military might had adopted unrealistic and obdurate policy for impeding its settlement.

He asked the people to remain vigilant from pro-India parties as they were befooling them in the name of resolution of the Kashmir dispute and shedding crocodile tears on human rights violations for gaining favour in farcical elections. “Actually they are hand in glow with India, helping it strengthen its illegal occupation and their hands are soaked in the blood of Kashmiri people. So it is necessary to maintain distance from them,” he maintained.

Yousuf Naqash said that for peace and progress in South Asia lasting and honourable settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people was a must.

Shah Ghulam Hassan, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Nazir Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Abbas Butt and Tantray Ejaz also accompanied Yousuf Naqash.
