Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health services maintain full operation during Eid

Peshawar, The Health Minister’s office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has received a detailed report confirming that medical services were maintained at full capacity during the Eid holidays across the province. Despite the festive period, emergency services were available around the clock in all 37 districts, ensuring that essential healthcare needs were met effectively.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the health department successfully managed a significant workload during the three days of Eid. A total of 1,751 deliveries were conducted in government hospitals, and healthcare professionals carried out 446 major and 6,684 minor surgeries in Peshawar alone.

This sustained operation during a major holiday underscores the commitment of the health department to provide continuous care. The provision of uninterrupted services during such periods is crucial for handling emergencies and maintaining the well-being of the population.
