Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ministers Inspect Rain-Hit Areas, Order Accelerated Relief Efforts

Peshawar, Provincial Ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Syed Qasim Ali Shah conducted an inspection tour of areas in Peshawar affected by recent heavy rainfall. The ministers visited key locations, including Charsada Road and Pajagi Road, assessing damage and coordinating immediate relief operations.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during their visit to locations such as Shahi Katha and Sardar Colony, Ministers Afridi and Shah issued directives to expedite the construction of the remaining sections of the Budhni Nala side wall along Charsada Road. They emphasized the need for quick action from all relevant institutions to mitigate the impact of the rains and provide necessary support to affected communities.

The provincial government’s response includes deploying resources to ensure that the affected areas receive adequate assistance as part of a broader effort to manage the aftermath of the seasonal rains effectively.
