KP CM directs completing ongoing hydel power projects in stipulated time

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed completing ongoing hydel power projects in stipulated time.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he said setting up transmission and distribution company of the province is a milestone in self-sufficiency of electricity.

The meeting was informed that construction work on three hundred mw Balakot Hydel Power project with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank will be started by Feb next year.

Similarly, work on solarizing four thousand Masajid is also underway.
