Karachi, July 04, 2023 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that after Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) got the status of a corporation, another promise made by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto to the people has been fulfilled. He said that the transfer of powers to the local bodies will be a means of providing facilities and relief to the people which is the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. He said that the KWSB getting corporation status benefits will reach people soon.
He added that increase in the powers of Mayor Karachi will bring convenience to the citizens, while the increase in the powers of the elected local representatives will continue. He said that under the direction of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, the Sindh government is trying to provide maximum relief and facilities to the people.
