Leopard kills minor boy in Uri Baramulla

Srinagar, A 5-year-old boy was killed by a leopard in the Uri area of Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Kashmir Media Service, local residents reported that Junaid Hussain, son of Zameer Hussain from Zamboor Pattan Uri, was attacked and dragged into nearby forests by a leopard while he was outside his home. Despite immediate efforts by the family and locals to chase the leopard, they arrived too late to prevent the tragedy. The boy was found in a pool of blood and later declared dead by doctors at SDH Uri.
