Karachi, In a surprising turn of events, Lucky Cement Limited announced the cancellation of its highly anticipated Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) scheduled for June 26, 2023. The decision was made by the company’s Board of Directors during their meeting held on June 21, 2023.
The Board, after careful consideration, decided not to proceed with the proposed increase in the authorized share capital of the company. Additionally, they opted not to alter the Articles of Association of Lucky Cement Limited, as initially mentioned in the meeting’s agenda.
Consequently, all the agenda items for the EOGM have been withdrawn by the Board, leading to the complete cancellation of the meeting. Shareholders and stakeholders who were eagerly awaiting the event will have to wait for further updates from the company regarding any potential rescheduling.
The cancellation of the EOGM has also resulted in the withdrawal of the book closure announced from June 19, 2023, to June 26, 2023.
