Islamabad: In a significant move toward strengthening the legal framework, Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar announced plans to introduce comprehensive reforms in the Qanoon-e-Shahadat and the Code of Criminal Procedure, aimed at bolstering the protection of victims and witnesses.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a discussion with a delegation from the Legal Aid Society, Minister Tarar emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the rights of victims and witnesses within the judicial process, highlighting the planned reforms as a critical step toward achieving this goal.
