Islamabad, October 14, 2015 (PPI-OT):Life and health are two greatest gifts from Allah to mankind and we should be thankful for that, said the State Minister. He said that physical and sports activities are very important for a healthy mind and Government of Pakistan is fully committed to provide mandatory sports facilities to each and every school in the country. We are giving due importance to sports activities in our National Education Policy 2016 in which it is made mandatory to have some kind of physical and sports activities in every school/institution.
Sports inculcate some amazing values in players and most important of them is the sportsman spirit, stated the state minister. Winner should take his/her win with poise and should not get carried away, similarly a loser should accept his/her defeat with grace and do better next time instead of maligning the winner. This is the beauty of the sports which reflects in our practical life as well. Let me quote here, success and loss are part and parcel of life we should accept whatever comes our way instead of waiting for the third umpire, emphasized the Minister.
Dear players there are no short cuts in life whoever leads you to them clearly misguides you, so go for hard work, honesty, integrity and truthfulness instead of other means, said the minister. Moreover he said that se physical and sports facilities with full determination without wasting your precious time because today’s hard work will pay you in future.
Further he added that players like Jaan Sher Khan, Inzamam ul Haq, Samiullah, Naseem Hameed and many more live in the hearts of people. So make them your role model and look up to them to become great payers in future. In the end State Minister congratulated all the players who were awarded and admired the efforts of FBISE and said that we are working with regional boards as well to make them at par with other international level boards.
