Minister of State and Secretary Foreign Affairs call on Prime Minister Gilani

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said Pakistan believes in peaceful co-existence and desires to strengthen friendly relations with the global community in the interest of international peace and prosperity. Pakistan as a frontline state against terrorism, he said, is confronting the enemies of entire humanity. The sacrifices being made by Pakistan, he added, need to be supplemented by international support in order to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

The Prime Minister talking to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar and the Secretary Foreign Affairs, Mr. Salman Bashir here at the Prime Minister’s House this evening.

Earlier, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Secretary Foreign Affairs apprised the Prime Minister on the international response to security challenges being faced by Pakistan in fronting extremism and terrorism.
