Islamabad: Minister for Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, emphasized the interconnection between economic and political stability during a recent interview with a private television channel. He stressed the importance of improving the business sector to meet the government’s revenue targets for the budget of 2024 and discussed the tax measures implemented post-budget, noting efforts to alleviate pressure on low-income groups despite IMF constraints.
