Motorway Police recover industrialist

Islamabad: Motorway Police in a successful operation on Sunday morning recovered a kidnapped industrialist near Kalar Kaha who was kidnapped from Lahore.

According to details, a renowned industrialist, Mr. Feroz was kidnapped from Lahore and Punjab Police informed the Motorway Police about this incident. It was also informed that the accused are travelling on motorway near Pindi Bhattian in a white Corolla with registration number LHR-147.

Upon receiving the call, the motorway police alerted it’s all mobiles and near 6:00 am when the car reached near Kalar Kahar salt range. The accused opened fire on the Motorway Police and succeeded to flee leaving vehicle on the motorway. The accused fled towards jungle that is situated alongwith the motorway.

Motorway Police with the coordination of local police recovered the industrialist while top officials of NH and MP monitored the entire operation.

During search operation, NH and MP arrested the accused Naik Muhammad from a Coaster. In his preliminary investigation, the accused told that he kidnapped the industrialist for ransom and wanted to proceed to Peshawar. Meanwhile, police were still searching co-accused who had fled towards Khushab.

DIG Motorway Police, Jehan Zeb Khan appreciated the work of his force and hoped they would continue rendering their services in a more vibrant manner.
