Murree Brewery Company Recommends Final Cash Dividend of Rs. 5 per Share for Fiscal Year 2023

Rawalpindi, In a recent board meeting held on September 15, 2023, at Rawalpindi, the Murree Brewery Company Limited announced its recommendations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

Cash Dividend for Shareholders

The Board of Directors recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 5 per share, equivalent to 50% of the share’s face value. This dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 5 per share, also amounting to 50%, which had already been paid.

No Bonus Shares or Right Shares

The company’s board has decided not to issue any bonus shares or right shares to shareholders for the fiscal year 2023.

Upcoming Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Murree Brewery Company Limited is scheduled to take place on October 20, 2023, in Rawalpindi.

Important Dates for Shareholders

Shareholders eligible for the recommended dividend must have their names listed in the Register of Members by October 13, 2023. The Share Transfer Books of the company will be closed from October 14, 2023, to October 20, 2023, inclusive.

Access to Annual Report

The company will provide its Annual Report to shareholders at least 21 days before the Annual General Meeting, and financial statements will be available on the company’s website at www.murreebrewery.com.
