Islamabad, January 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): NAB Rawalpindi has arrested three main accused namely Brig (R) Javed Iqbal, Ex-Administrator of DHA and Col (R) Sabahat Qadeer Butt, Ex-Director Project of DHA for misusing their authority and violating the contract by selling allotment certificates of DHA Islamabad illegally and in violation of agreement between DHA and M/s Elysium Holdings Pakistan Ltd.
The accused Waseem Aslam who was the CEO of M/s Elysium Holdings Pakistan Ltd. has also been arrested for causing loss to the DHA and illegal sale of non-saleable certificates of DHA in violation of contract agreement and without payment to the land owners.
The management of M/s Elysium Holdings Pakistan Ltd. in connivance with the Ex-management of DHA has caused a huge loss for not completing the project named DHA-I Ranches and has sold certificates of DHA Ranches in violation of contract agreement. Formal inquiry is under process at NAB, Rawalpindi.
The Accountability Court has granted physical remand of three accused namely Brig (R) Javed Iqbal, Ex-Administrator of DHA, Col (R) Sabahat Qadeer Butt, Ex-Project Director and Waseem Aslam, CEO, M/s Elysium Holdings Pakistan Ltd. up till 29-01-2016.
