National Assembly Session Concludes in Islamabad

Islamabad, The President of Pakistan has officially concluded the current session of the National Assembly as of Monday, the 13th of May, 2024, marking the end of its proceedings.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the session was prorogued by the President’s exercise of powers under clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution. This formal notification was issued by Tahir Hussain, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, and published in the Gazette of Pakistan. The prorogation signifies the completion of the session’s agenda and discharges all members from their duties until the assembly is summoned again.
