National BankXD Reports Varied Trading Activity on Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi, National BankXD experienced a mixed trading session on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) with various listings showing different levels of activity and price fluctuations.

The primary listing for National BankXD, coded NBP, opened at 40.8 and closed slightly higher at 41.0, after fluctuating between a low of 40 and a high of 40.18. A total of 4,930,935 shares were traded during the day, with the stock closing at a price of 40.74. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this trading activity reflects a moderate interest from investors, with the closing price settling near the day’s high.

Other listings of National BankXD under the same code but with different maturity months demonstrated varied performances. The July futures (NBP-JUL) did not see any trading activity, remaining at zero throughout the session, while their stock high reached 41.85, closing at 42.49.

The June futures (NBP-JUN) maintained a steady position, opening and closing at 41.5, with a low of 40.85 and a slight high of 40.86. Approximately 79,000 shares were traded, and the closing price was noted at 41.23.

Lastly, the May futures (NBP-MAY) showed some activity with an opening price of 40.69 and a closing price of 40.74, moving between a low of 40 and a high of 40.5. About 795,000 shares were exchanged by the day’s close.
