Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Swat nearing completion

Islamabad, November 24, 2015 (PPI-OT): Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Tuesday chaired meeting of the Punjab Hospitals Trust and reviewed the progress on Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital, Swat. Advisor to Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Muqam was also present. The meeting on this occasion was informed that the project was almost ready to be launched and in the final phases installation of medical and other equipment was near completion.

The hospital was being provided with most modern centralized compressor system to ensure regular oxygen supply, power generators were made fully functional and a quality incinerator was also being procured. Arrangements for accommodation of administrative and medical staff were also in place. The meeting was also briefed about the financial profile of the project.

Advisor to Prime Minister, Engineer Amir Muqam thanked the Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, Minister Dar and team of Punjab Hospital Trust for putting up this project in Swat. He stated that not only people from Swat but whole of Malakand Division are thankful for this initiative.

He requested early completion of the project. Minister Dar gave instructions for completion of the hospital by 15th of December 2015 so that it is ready for inauguration. The Minister said he expected it to be a modern medical facility for people of Swat as well as adjoining areas. Senior officials of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Punjab and the Kidney Hospital project attended the meeting.
