NDMA Chairman Stresses Proactive Measures for Environmental Challenges on World Environment Day

Islamabad, The Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) emphasized the importance of proactive strategies to combat water stress, food security, and other environmental challenges as part of the observance of World Environment Day.

According to National Disaster Management Authority, the Chairman underlined Pakistan’s commitment to incorporating environment and climate change considerations into national policies. He advocated for the adoption of global best practices and called for international cooperation to develop effective strategies to confront the interconnected crises of climate change, nature degradation, and biodiversity loss.
