NDMA dispatches fifth cargo plane carrying relief items to quake-hit Turkiye

Islamabad, March 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): The National Disaster Management Authority has dispatched fifth cargo plane carrying relief items to the quake-hit Turkiye. The cargo containing 1,200 winterized fire-resistant family tents was dispatched from Lahore.

The NDMA has so far dispatched a total of 6,000 tents to Turkiye via a special flight operation which commenced on 11th of this month. In addition, 2,595 tents have been sent via the Pakistan International Airlines flights and the Pakistan Navy ships to the quake hit country.
