News item published by a section of press saying that retirement age for Government Servants has been fixed 62 Years is incorrect

Islamabad, October 30, 2012 (PPI-OT): A news item published by a section of press saying that the Retirement Age For Government Servants has been fixed 62 Years gave an impression that Establishment Division has issued a notification for enhancement of retirement age for Federal Government Civil Servants up to 62 years.

A spokesman of the Establishment Division has clarified that no such notification has been issued by that Division. The Spokesperson further added that this news item is misleading which created wrong impression. This news item is not based on facts.
