Nighttime Movement Restrictions Imposed in Poonch, Jammu

Jammu: A new restriction has been placed on the movement of residents in Poonch district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly during nighttime hours, as part of a directive from the local government.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the ban, effective from 9 PM to 4 AM, was instituted by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Imran Rashid, following recommendations from Indian army authorities. The order restricts local residents from visiting or roaming in the area without prior permission from the army, significantly limiting the freedom of movement of the people in their own region.
