Nishat Chunian Limited Announces Revised Book Closure Date for Upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting

Lahore: In a recent update from Nishat Chunian Limited, the company has announced a revision in the book closure start date related to its forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). Initially set for August 10, 2024, the new book closure date will now begin on August 8, 2024. This change ensures better compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

The notification follows a previous announcement on July 18, 2024, detailing the upcoming EGM’s date, venue, time, and original book closure dates. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the rest of the EGM details remain unchanged. The meeting is scheduled for August 17, 2024, at 31-Q, Gulberg-II, Lahore, starting at 10:00 AM. The book closure period is set from August 8, 2024, to August 17, 2024, inclusive of both days.

Nishat Chunian Limited has advised TRE Certificate Holders and relevant market participants to update their records and prepare for the adjusted schedule accordingly. This adjustment aims to enhance the company’s adherence to regulatory requirements.
