Lahore, July 21, 2023 (PPI-OT): Olayan Descon has recently awarded Detailed Design and Engineering for the new BUCAT Plant of PETROKEMYA (SABIC) to Descon Engineering Services and Technology (DEST). PETROKEMYA intends to install new BUCAT Plant at Petrokemya-West, Jubail, similar to existing plant at SABIC-STC Riyadh. The scope of award includes:
Raw materials unloading, drying and storage
BUCAT preparation system
Wastage vessel for off-spec catalyst disposal
Loading system for finished product (BUCAT)
Flare system including flare knock-out drum and flare stack.
Fire Fighting system with HCIS approval
DEST’s proactive approach and quality performance in lieu of this project shall pave way to strengthen its presence in KSA and secure future projects.
