Opposition Criticizes Modi’s Peace Claims in IIOJK Following Fatal Bus Attack

New Delhi, The Indian opposition has condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claims of achieving peace and normalcy in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir following an alleged attack on a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims that resulted in 10 deaths.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized PM Modi, stating that the attack highlights the unfounded claims of peace and normalcy in the region. Kharge expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and demanded swift government relief.

The bus was attacked in occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, resulting in the deaths of 10 people. The bus driver lost control, and the vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Teryath village in the Poni area. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi, Mohita Sharma, confirmed the attack and described the incident as highly unfortunate.
