Outgoing Deputy Head of Mission of Turkish Embassy Calls on Deputy Speaker National Assembly

Islamabad: Outgoing Deputy Head of Mission of Turkish Embassy, Cenk Unal Paid a farewell call on Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi. The Deputy Speaker eulogized the services of the outgoing Deputy Head of Mission of Turkish Embassy for intensification relations between to brotherly country.

The Deputy Speaker expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and property in recent devastating Earthquake in Turkey. He said that this tragic news has sadden every Pakistani. He said that people of Pakistan are with stood by their Turkish brethren in this hour of trial and assured all possible help to Turkey in this hard time.

Referring the relations between Pakistan and Turkey the Deputy Speaker said that Pakistan and Turkey have long history of relations and both the countries were tied in the bond of friendship and fraternity.

He said that Pakistan values high its relations with Turkey and desired to further cement existing relations through enhanced Parliamentary relations and economic cooperation. He prayed for Cenk Unal success in future.

The Deputy Head of Mission congratulated the Deputy Speaker on his election as member of the Executive Committee of IPU. He condoled the sad demise of Mother-e-Jamhuriat, Mohtarma Nusrat Bhutto and paid rich tribute to the struggled of Mohtarma Nusrat Bhutto for democracy in Pakistan.

Eulogizing, the Pakistani people he said that the Pakistani is country of peace loving people and he will always remember the respect and love given by the Pakistani people to him during his stay in Pakistan.
