Pakistan and Bangladesh Enhance Cooperation for Regional Prosperity

Islamabad: Pakistan and Bangladesh have committed to enhancing cooperation to ensure mutual progress and prosperity, following a productive telephonic discussion between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Adviser of the Bangladesh Government, Professor Muhammad Yunus.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration for the socio-economic upliftment of their nations and the broader South Asian region. This agreement comes at a significant time as both countries seek to deepen their historical, cultural, and religious ties.

The Prime Minister congratulated Professor Yunus on his new role and acknowledged his contributions to Bangladesh’s development. The conversation also addressed recent challenges, including the impact of devastating floods in Bangladesh, with Sharif expressing his sympathies.
