Pakistan and France Agree to Enhance Agricultural Trade and Cooperation

Islamabad: Pakistan and France have agreed to expand their cooperation in the agricultural sector. This development emerged from a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, and French Ambassador Nicolas Galey in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions highlighted that the agricultural trade volume between the two nations has reached 39 million dollars. The meeting focused on increasing the exports of rice, mangoes, and other agricultural commodities from Pakistan to France.

Additionally, both parties explored the potential for collaboration in the production of hybrid seeds. The talks also included a proposal to introduce a French model market in Pakistan to promote value-added milk and meat products.
