Pakistan and Nepal Strengthen Cultural Collaboration

Islamabad: Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cultural ties with Nepal. He engaged in discussions with the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Rita Dhital, in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that Pakistan is home to invaluable Buddhist artifacts, including renowned Buddha sculptures and remains. The Nepalese Ambassador acknowledged the longstanding relationship between Nepal and Pakistan, which is built on mutual respect, goodwill, and cooperation. She commended Pakistan’s efforts in promoting, preserving, and conserving culture, arts, museums, and Buddhist cultural heritage.

Both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in culture, heritage, and people-to-people engagement.
