Islamabad, Efforts to enhance educational cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom have taken a step forward with recent discussions in London.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, met with the UK’s Deputy Foreign Secretary and Minister of State (Development and Africa) Andrew Mitchell to discuss potential areas of collaboration.
These talks, which also involved the British Council and were attended by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, focused on strengthening the partnership between the two countries in education. The meeting was part of the Pakistani delegation’s agenda at the Education World Forum 2024, indicating a proactive approach to fostering international educational links.
