Pakistan Army Neutralizes 37 Terrorists in Tirah Operations

Tirah: In a significant blow to terrorist activities, the Pakistan Army has successfully neutralized 37 terrorists, including a key leader, in a series of intelligence-based operations in the Tirah area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operations, which started on August 20th, also resulted in injuries to fourteen terrorists.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these operations have targeted the Khawarij, a militant group accused of numerous attacks and incursions from Afghanistan. The recent surge in military activity has aimed at dismantling the terrorist infrastructure in the Tirah valley, achieving major successes and minimizing civilian and military casualties.

Brigadier Commander Frontier Corps Amir Nawaz Khan highlighted the proactive measures taken by the security forces to repel the Khawarij’s advances and eliminate their hideouts. Brigadier Faisal of the Special Service Group detailed the coordinated strategy that ensured minimal losses to the local population and the army, while maximizing enemy casualties. The death of Abu Dhar alias Saddam, the main leader of the Khawarij, marks a critical setback for the terrorist group.

Major Mohsin, associated with the operations, emphasized the challenging conditions under which the Pakistani soldiers operated and their resolute efforts to disrupt enemy operations in the valley. Lieutenant Hafiz Muzamil also confirmed the significant damages inflicted on the terrorists during these operations.

The security forces remain steadfast in their commitment to safeguard the lives and properties of the citizens against threats posed by Fitna Al Khawarij.
