Pakistan Army’s Relief Efforts Persist in Flood-Affected Regions

Islamabad: Pakistan Army’s flood relief operation in Buner, Swat, Shangla, and Swabi continued for the fifth consecutive day today. Ration and other supplies are being provided through Pak Army helicopters, and people are being shifted to safe places.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pak Army Corps of Engineers troops are busy opening the roads and removing debris. The Urban Search and Rescue Team of the Corps of Engineers is searching and recovering the injured and dead bodies from the debris. Pak Army doctors have also set up medical camps in the affected areas where free medicines are being distributed.

The operation will continue until all the affected people are rescued and shifted to safe places.
