Pakistan Coast Guards Seize Large Quantities of Contraband in Coastal Operation

Islamabad, Following orders from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Pakistan Coast Guards carried out a successful operation along the coastal belt, confiscating a significant haul of contraband items.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the seized items included 12,970 kilograms of sugar, 3,049 packets of gutka, 1,524 packets of cigarettes, and substantial quantities of mixed and net cloth. In addition, the operation also netted various other items such as dairy and bakery products, grocery items, dry fruits, makeup products, cooking oil, and electronic devices, as well as speed boats, various vehicles, engine oil, Iranian petrol, and diesel. This action underscores the ongoing efforts of the Pakistan Coast Guards to combat smuggling and illegal trade activities along the nation’s coastline.
