Pakistan-Czech Republic trade volume reaches over $300 million: Czech Envoy

Islamabad, May 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): Ambassador of Czech Republic, Tomas Smetanka has said that Pakistan and Czech Republic are focusing on enhancing trade in multiple sectors like mining industry and agriculture sector. In an interview, the Ambassador said bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Czechia has reached over three hundred million dollars.

He said Pakistan’s exports to the Czech Republic are about four times higher than the Czech exports to Pakistan. He urged for institutional partnerships between the Czech Republic and Pakistani universities to seek potential, talented, and skilful students in science and technology and higher education for better outcomes.
