Pakistan, Egypt agree to continue engaging on regional, global issues

Islamabad, December 25, 2020 (PPI-OT): Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to continue engaging on regional and global issues and working to enhance bilateral ties. The understanding was reached during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Hassan Shoukry.

They discussed ways to further strengthen and diversify bilateral relations and enhance collaboration at multilateral organizations. They also discussed regional developments and global issues of mutual interest. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi briefed his counterpart on developments in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and underlined the need for the international community to take steps to address the grave situation.
