Pakistan Finance Minister Meets Foreign Investors in Dubai to Strengthen Economic Ties


Islamabad, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb met with foreign investors in Dubai, including Abdulla Bin Lahej, Chairman of Ayana Holding, and Mohammed Hilal Bin Tarraf Al Mansoori, Chairman of Nad Al Shiba Holding, to discuss strategies to enhance investment activity between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan. The meeting aimed to explore ways to support existing economic partnerships and diversify into new sectors.



According to Press Information Department, the Minister outlined areas of potential diversification, including information technology, renewable energy, transport and logistics, infrastructure, and real estate development. He highlighted Pakistan’s competitive advantages, emphasizing its appeal to investors seeking high returns and sustainable growth.



During the meeting, Aurangzeb also discussed the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in providing comprehensive support to investors at every stage of their journey. He mentioned that SIFC offers market research, regulatory guidance, investment facilitation, and post-investment support, ensuring a smooth investment experience in Pakistan.



The Minister’s meeting with foreign investors in Dubai underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering economic ties with the UAE and creating a more investor-friendly environment. This initiative is part of a broader effort to attract investment and drive economic growth through diversified partnerships.



The discussions reflect Pakistan’s proactive approach in strengthening economic cooperation with key stakeholders in the UAE, paving the way for future collaborations in a variety of sectors.
